The episode kicks off with a discussion of some of 2025’s Hugo, Nebula, Locus, Dragon, and Goodreads Choice awards. AJ spends entirely too much time talking about Chuck Tingle’s oeuvre for Marly’s comfort. Marly also absolutely did not buy most of the other books on the list.

Next our intrepid podcasters cover the Grammy winners and show their relative age and cultural status by being largely out of the loop and mostly go on about how they don’t like hype.

They move on to some select items from the 2024 Academy Awards and BAFTAs, and 2025 Golden Globes. Finally, they wrap up with a mention of some of the notable folks who left us in 2025.
